Hi, my name is Rudy, I am totally obsessed with food, bread in particular. Have been baking since I was a young boy. It all started with the stay overs at my grandmothers house, baking cookies, cake and whatever other delicious goodies. I started my career helping in the neighborhood bakery when I was 12 years old and didn’t stop since. A couple of years ago the company I worked for went bankrupt and had to let go all of the employees. I rolled in to a new job as F&B manager at a cinema. But like I always say a bakers heart can’t be stopped so I started a fresh sourdough starter at home in februari 2019 and began to explore a whole new world of baking, because it is so much different to bake at home than when I used to do it in a professional bakery. I have made a whole load of new friends, learned so many new insights into baking sourdough bread and most of all had a lot of fun doing so. I’m not sure what the future holds for me, but I know that I need to follow my passion back into the world of baking and sharing knowledge.
